Scientific Exploration on Teleportation
Since the last well known research
on teleportation done in 1993 there have been many new experiments by well
known physicists concentrating their efforts and work in single minded direction
of scientific explorations in teleportation. A lot of effort goes into putting
the pieces together, though we are still to know whether our progress is
substantial or do we get expertise in further conducting tests. A fascinating
concept this idea is born from the quantum distance travel for humans and an object
without actually having exerted work during the process.
In 1993, a team of researchers led
by physicist Charles Bennett and other IBM researchers confirmed that quantum
teleportation was indeed possible though the original object being teleported
would get destroyed. The act of scanning disrupts original such that the copy is
only surviving original. In 1997, research proved possibility of light
particles (photons) being possible to be teleported. Since then single atoms
have been teleported.
